Xiaomi Officially Launch ‘YU7’, The Brand’s First SUV

Xiaomi has officially launched the YU7, marking the brand’s second electric vehicle model and their first SUV. The YU7 is available in three versions – Standard, Pro, and Max, with the basic Standard variant offering an impressive range of 835 km. This new model features an innovative electric-flush door handle system and is offered in three nature-inspired paint options.

Described as a mid-to-large SUV, the YU7 boasts dimensions of 4999 mm (L) × 1996 mm (W) × 1600 mm (H) and a wheelbase of 3000 mm. The interior provides ample space with 100 mm front headroom, 77 mm rear headroom, and 73 mm rear legroom. The YU7 stands out with its unique taillight design, enhancing its bold appearance.

The YU7 comes with premium features such as Nappa leather seats, a 16.1-inch central touchscreen, and dual rear entertainment displays. Pricing details have not been revealed yet, but the YU7 series includes Standard, Pro, and Max variants, with the entry-level Standard model offering an impressive 835 km range from its 96.3 kWh battery.

The YU7 Pro and Max models are equipped with 96.3 kWh and 101.7 kWh batteries, respectively, providing CLTC ranges of 760 km and 770 km. The entire YU7 series features an 800V silicon carbide high-voltage platform, enabling fast charging capabilities and exceptional performance.

With a maximum horsepower of 690 PS, the YU7 delivers a 0-100 acceleration time of 3.23 seconds and a top speed of 253 km/h. The SUV is equipped with advanced technology for assisted driving, including the NVIDIA DRIVE AGX Thor platform and LiDAR for enhanced visibility and obstacle detection.
