According to federal court records, a Wisconsin teenager accused of killing two family members and planning to assassinate President Donald Trump was reportedly influenced by Terrorgram, a white supremacist network that operated on the Telegram platform. Terrorgram, which has been associated with numerous criminal cases worldwide, was recently featured in reports and a documentary by ProPublica and FRONTLINE.

The court documents allege that the 17-year-old suspect from Waukesha, Wisconsin, drafted a manifesto advocating for Trump’s assassination to spark a political revolution in the U.S. and “save the white race” from “Jewish controlled politicians.” The suspect endorsed the writings of Juraj Krajčík, a significant figure in Terrorgram responsible for a deadly attack on an LGBTQ+ bar in Slovakia.

Terrorgram, established in 2019, comprised numerous Telegram channels aiming to incite white supremacist terrorism and anti-government actions. Although authorities have arrested key members in recent months, the network’s disruption has not halted violence, as seen in the case of the accused teenager in Wisconsin.

The suspect, charged with homicide and other offenses, allegedly communicated with an individual in Russia about plans to overthrow the U.S. government and assassinate Trump. FBI documents reveal an ongoing investigation into the assassination plot.

The accused’s beliefs align with militant accelerationism, a concept pursued by neo-Nazis aiming to hasten societal collapse through extreme violence. Experts highlight the unique nature of the case, emphasizing the individual’s potential for drastic terrorist actions.

Various extremist Telegram channels linked to the suspect have been identified, including involvement in a neo-Nazi chat group and interest in the Order of Nine Angles, a group blending Satanic and Nazi ideologies. The suspect’s online interactions demonstrate the continued influence of Terrorgram on individuals embracing violent ideologies.
