Watch: Quinta Brunson plays Harriet Tubman in ‘SNL’ spoof of ‘Bill & Ted’

On the weekend, Quinta Brunson guest-hosted “SNL.” The show parodied the time-travel comedy “Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure,” with Brunson portraying Harriet Tubman. Keenan Thompson also appeared as Frederick Douglass in a sketch called “Will & Todd’s Radical Experience.” The story follows high-school students Will and Todd as they travel back in time to seek the help of historical figures for their history project. Despite successfully completing their task, Tubman and Douglass opt to stay in modern-day California rather than return to the 19th century due to the mistreatment of African Americans. The sketch concludes with Tubman and Douglass pushing Will and Todd into the phone booth with other historical figures before heading to a theme park to enjoy some roller coasters.
