Watch: Keanu Reeves praises Ana de Armas’ ‘Ballerina’ training

Keanu Reeves was spotted at the 2024 premiere of “Sonic the Hedgehog 3” in Los Angeles, where he praised the lead actress in his “John Wick” spinoff film “Ballerina.” Lionsgate released a behind-the-scenes video for “Ballerina” on Friday. The movie will premiere on large screens this Wednesday and will be available everywhere on June 6. Reeves, who is an executive producer and reprises his role as John Wick, commended Ana de Armas for her talent and versatility, saying there’s nothing she can’t do. De Armas plays Eve, a character training at a ballet/assassin school that also taught John Wick. The film’s director, Chad Stahelski, highlighted the practical aesthetic they aim for in the movie, emphasizing the need for actors like de Armas who can perform intense scenes realistically.
