Walton Goggins steered clear of discussing any possible feud with his “White Lotus” co-star Aimee Lou Wood while hosting “Saturday Night Live” over the weekend.
During his opening monologue, Goggins cleverly avoided addressing the rumors directly by joking, “Most of you probably know me from ‘The White Lotus.’ No spoilers, but I die.”
He then humorously touched on his character’s fate and unexpected sex symbol status in the HBO series, quipping, “Some of my friends have even asked me, ‘What does it feel like to become a sex symbol at 53 years old?’ And you know what, if I’m being honest, it feels fantastic.”
Speculations of a feud between Goggins and Wood arose in April when fans noticed the two had unfollowed each other on Instagram and avoided each other at events like the 2025 Met Gala. Their co-star Jason Isaacs added fuel to the fire by hinting at on-set tensions. When asked about the rumored feud in a recent interview, Goggins dismissed the question with a blunt response, “What the f–k! … Come on, buddy. Wow.”
Despite the ongoing gossip, Wood has publicly expressed her admiration for Goggins, stating that she enjoyed working with him.
