Three-year-old boy, Leander Nichols, Passes After Drowning Incident

Three-year-old Leander Nichols tragically passes away following a drowning incident that occurred at a private pool in Smokerise subdivision in Peachtree City. Leander, who was put on life support after receiving CPR and life-saving efforts from his mother and police officers, passed away on May 28. He was the beloved son of Iris and Josh Nichols and a cherished little brother to four sisters. The Nichols family has received an outpouring of support, with donations totaling $26,931 on a Meal Train fundraiser and community members offering to provide meals throughout June.
