A luxury hotel in Bardstown, Kentucky, named The Trail Hotel, which is infused with bourbon, is now open for guests. This unique 95-room hotel offers interactive bourbon experiences and features eight distinctive suites, a top-rated dining experience, five bars, modern wellness amenities, and is conveniently located near the Kentucky Bourbon Trail. Established in 1970 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the hotel, previously known as the Holiday Inn Bardstown, has been redesigned by Joseph & Joseph Architects and is close to 11 local distilleries.

The hotel emphasizes its commitment to bourbon culture with The Bourbon Butler, who facilitates connections with local distilleries, farms, restaurants, and other tourism businesses for a personalized experience. The Trail Hotel introduces its own private-label bourbon and rye, exclusively available to guests for purchase and tasting experiences within the hotel.

With Executive chef Marvin Woods at the helm, the hotel offers elevated food and drink options, including the Oak & Ember restaurant, Embers lobby bar, Bourbon Lounge, Swim Club Bar, and Bourbon Alley. The property also provides versatile meeting spaces for various events, from small retreats to larger gatherings, with customizable packages and an in-house culinary team.

Guests can enjoy modern wellness amenities at the Rejuvenation Room, bourbon-inspired Signature Suites, a golf simulator called By and For, and The Reserve Room for private dining or events. General Manager Dan Sirrine expressed excitement about offering guests an immersive experience in Bardstown’s bourbon history at The Trail Hotel.
