Tesla owner, investor doubles down after receiving hateful Nazi-themed mail at her home: ‘I bought our 5th Tesla’

A Tesla enthusiast and investor in California recently received hate mail with Nazi themes at her residence. Instead of being fearful, Alexandra Merz defiantly purchased a new shiny red Tesla car in response. The handwritten letter, adorned with a Nazi salute incorporated into the Tesla logo, implied Merz’s alleged support for Nazism. The hateful message, sent from Boston, led Merz to report the incident to the FBI but also further strengthened her support for Tesla, Elon Musk, and DOGE.

Merz, an investment analyst and immigration consultant, expressed her commitment to standing up for Tesla and Musk despite the malicious correspondence she received. She highlighted Tesla’s positive impact, such as employing over 140,000 workers globally and producing American cars in the US, including the European Model Ys in Berlin. The FBI is investigating the hate mail incident, part of a series of attacks on Tesla properties and owners since DOGE began its operations. Notably, a UMass Boston student was charged for firebombing a Tesla dealership in Missouri, causing extensive damage.

Despite challenges like vandalism, harassment, and financial setbacks, including a significant drop in net income, Tesla remains a notable player in the electric car industry. As Musk concludes his involvement with DOGE, he plans to focus more on Tesla’s development.
