Rink Management Services’ Forward Focus Following Sports Facilities Companies Management Contract Sales

Rink Management Services has recently sold 13 facility management contracts to Sports Facilities Companies (SFC) but will continue to operate independently in the ice rink business. The focus will be on managing seven leased properties and developing a Holiday Village concept with ice skating, as well as supporting growth initiatives. Tom Hillgrove, the president of Rink Management Services, expressed enthusiasm for the opportunities in the industry and the company’s contribution to the growth of hockey and ice sports. He mentioned ongoing efforts to build an ice rink at the University of Virginia and highlighted the collaboration with Sports Facilities Companies on joint projects. Rink Management Services has a strong track record of managing ice rinks for over 20 years and is known for operating some of the highest volume seasonal ice skating rinks in the United States. The company is also expanding its offerings by developing a Holiday Village concept with ice skating.
