Privacy Protectors Spotlight: Bailey Marshall

Marshall, a cybersecurity expert, is known for her skills in penetration testing, red-team engagements, dark web investigations, OSINT, and security strategy. She founded The Security Rex, a platform offering cybersecurity content and consulting services to businesses. Additionally, she co-founded Future Proof Security in 2024 to provide online safety tools for parents, educators, and communities.

Marshall’s journey into cybersecurity began during her time in the U.S. Army, where she discovered her passion for IT and security. With a background in psychology, she transitioned into cybersecurity after obtaining certifications and a Master’s degree. Marshall has since worked in various roles, such as a Senior Consultant at Mandiant and a Security Customer Engineer at Google. She also directs innovation at Applied Technology Academy and teaches cybersecurity at Southern New Hampshire University.

The Security Rex, Marshall’s educational platform, aims to make cybersecurity accessible by breaking down complex topics into easy-to-understand content. She offers free training resources and consulting services to help organizations improve their security posture.
