Placemakr Expands With Newest Pop-Up Hotelin Nevada

Placemakr has recently opened a new pop-up site in Reno, Nevada, in collaboration with Pacific Development & Bridge Investment Group and Greystar. This marks Placemakr’s first venture into Nevada, offering 66 apartment-style hotel suites with various booking options. The property is equipped with a range of amenities such as a fitness center, meeting rooms, co-working spaces, a clubhouse, a pool, a rooftop lounge, outdoor areas, a pet lounge, parking, and more. CEO Jason Fudin expressed his enthusiasm for expanding Placemakr’s presence in the West, particularly in Reno, a vibrant tourist spot that has seen significant business investment. Placemakr Reno’s strategic location near Greater Nevada Field and downtown, with easy access to Lake Tahoe, is expected to attract guests. This new addition is part of Placemakr’s plan to introduce five properties across the country in 2025, following openings in cities like Salt Lake City, Santa Clara, San Antonio, and Pittsburgh.
