Petrobras enriches Brazilian offshore reserves with ‘high-quality’ oil find

Petrobras, the Brazilian state-owned energy company, has announced a new oil find in the pre-salt Santos Basin off the coast of Brazil. The company claims to have discovered high-quality oil with no impurities at the 3-BRSA-1396D-SPS well in the Aram block. Petrobras, along with CNPC, plans to conduct further analysis to assess the reservoir’s potential. They also intend to drill more wells and perform tests as part of their appraisal plan. This discovery adds to Petrobras’ recent successes in finding hydrocarbons in the region.
