‘Peacemaker’ Season 2 gets teaser, August release date

John Cena and Danielle Brooks will star in Season 2 of the show “Peacemaker,” which will premiere on Max on August 21. A teaser trailer for the upcoming season was released by Max. The new season, consisting of eight episodes, will see Cena reprising his role as the DC Comics antihero, Chris Smith, also known as Peacemaker. The storyline will focus on Peacemaker’s quest for peace while battling evil forces. Returning cast members include Jennifer Holland, Freddie Stroma, Steve Agee, and Robert Patrick, with new additions such as Frank Grillo, David Denman, Sol Rodriguez, and Tim Meadows. James Gunn, the creator of the series, has written all eight episodes of the new season and will direct three episodes. The show is set to premiere on August 21 at 9 p.m. EDT on Max.
