Deep loyalty is evident among Americans, as over half of them (53%) are willing to endure a visit to the DMV for the sake of their loved ones, a recent study reveals. The survey, which involved 2,000 U.S. adults, delved into the extent of loyalty in various aspects, including relationships with friends, family, and brands.

Aside from enduring long DMV lines, many Americans are willing to go to great lengths for their loved ones, with two in five expressing readiness to donate organs to family and friends. Results also show that Americans are willing to serve as references for apartments or jobs, with 62% indicating their willingness to do so.

The study also highlights the loyalty Americans have towards brands, with nearly three in five having specific preferences for certain items or services from particular brands. The average American has stayed loyal to their favorite brands for around 13 years, with some remaining loyal for up to two decades.

Various industries benefit from American loyalty, with many expressing loyalty to grocery stores (71%), restaurants and food services (59%), gas stations (39%), and convenience stores (27%). Loyalty rewards, such as free shipping, discounts, and other perks, are appreciated by consumers, who are willing to share these rewards with their family and friends.

The survey also delves into Americans’ likelihood of participating in cash prize sweepstakes, with almost two-thirds expressing interest in taking part. The average American views a winning amount of just over $31,500 as significant, while a sum slightly exceeding $70,000 would be life-changing for many.

Rick Rasor, Vice President of Loyalty at Circle K, emphasizes the importance of loyalty in relationships with family, friends, businesses, and brands. Recognizing the value of loyalty, Circle K is rewarding customers for their continued patronage. Currently hosting the Big Circle K Giveaway, the company plans to award $100,000 to five individuals nationwide, allowing them to decide how they share the prize.

In conclusion, loyalty plays a crucial role in guiding daily lives, choices, and connections among Americans, as highlighted in the survey conducted by Talker Research on behalf of Circle K.
