TGS, a Norwegian energy data and intelligence company, has announced a new contract in the East Mediterranean region with an undisclosed partner. The latest agreement involves a 4D streamer contract expected to last around 90 days. The data acquisition operations are set to begin in the second quarter of 2025.
Kristian Johansen, CEO of TGS, expressed satisfaction with the new contract, stating, “We are delighted to have secured this 4D streamer contract. With the use of the Ramform acquisition platform and our GeoStreamer technology, we are well-prepared to deliver top-notch 4D data to our client.”
TGS has recently inked several other agreements, including shallow-water ocean bottom node (OBN) work off the coast of Trinidad. Additionally, the company initiated a multi-client ultra-long offset OBN data collection project in the Gulf of America last month.
Furthermore, TGS recently obtained a geophysical survey project in the UK covering the Dogger Bank South (DBS) offshore wind farm sites.
