Netanyahu supports Trump’s Iran warning following airport attack, vows to strike Tehran-backed forces

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu expressed strong backing for President Donald Trump’s position on Iran, which he reiterated in a recent post after a deadly assault by the Houthi group targeted Israel’s main airport.

Netanyahu stated on X (formerly Twitter) that the attacks by the Houthis are linked to Iran and cautioned that Israel would retaliate at a time and place of its own choosing, specifically targeting “their Iranian terror masters.”

In his post, Netanyahu fully endorsed Trump’s statement from March, deeming it “absolutely” accurate.

The recent attention on Iran comes in the wake of increased attacks connected to Tehran-supported militias amid the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas, as well as broader regional instability.

The strike on Israel’s main airport on Sunday by the Houthis led to multiple injuries and grounded numerous international flights, confirmed Israeli defense sources.

Netanyahu’s declaration, supported by President Trump’s previous warning, mirrors the belief among several officials that the failure to hold Iran responsible now could lead to even greater instability in the future.
