Mojo Muhtadi Sustains Severe Shoulder Injury During Dance Off in Las Vegas
Mojo Muhtadi experienced a serious shoulder injury while engaging in a dance-off in Las Vegas over the weekend. The incident occurred at Ghost Bar in the Palms during a performance by Ryan Cabrera. Muhtadi attempted a daring shoulder roll that unfortunately resulted in a painful landing on his left shoulder, signaling that something was amiss.
Despite the injury, Muhtadi, a former WWE Superstar and current co-host of the TMZ Sports TV show, decided to continue with the night’s festivities rather than seek immediate medical attention. He returned to his hotel room, hoping that a good night’s rest would suffice in alleviating the discomfort.
The following day, with no improvement in his shoulder, Muhtadi sought medical assistance and underwent an X-ray that revealed a grade III AC (acromioclavicular) joint separation. Fortunately, surgery is not required, and doctors have advised a few weeks of wearing a sling for a near-full recovery.
Remarkably, Muhtadi still managed to attend various events on Sunday, impressing his friends with his resilience. Ryan Cabrera, who was performing during the unfortunate incident, described the night as unforgettable, particularly highlighting Muhtadi’s commitment to the dance-off despite his injury.
Muhtadi humorously remarked, “Breakdancing is a full-contact sport!”
