Michael Rohr appointed Area General Manager at Dorint Hotel Group

Dorint Hotel Group has appointed Michael Rohr as the new Area General Manager, effective April 1, 2025. In this role, Rohr will oversee the strategic development and management of seven resort hotels in the Dorint portfolio. He will also serve as the General Manager for the Dorint Seehotel & Resort Klink/Müritz, currently under construction, and report directly to Stefanie Brandes, the COO of the hotel group.

With over 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Michael Rohr brings a wealth of international expertise to his new position. He has worked for various prestigious hotel brands and held management roles in different locations worldwide. Prior to joining Dorint, Rohr served as the General Manager of the Océano Health Spa Hotel in Tenerife, among other roles.

Rohr expressed his excitement about his new role, stating his main objective is to strategically develop the resort hotels of the ‘Dorint Hotels & Resorts’ brand in the DACH region. His responsibilities will include overseeing the development of Dorint’s seven resort hotels, such as the Dorint Marc Aurel Resort Bad Gögging and Dorint Seehotel Binz-Therme, to ensure the continued success and expansion of the brand’s resort offerings.
