The MLB trade deadline is still a few months away, but some teams are already making moves. The Chicago White Sox acquired pitcher Miguel Castro from the Houston Astros, while the Arizona Diamondbacks traded Jose Castillo to the New York Mets. Castro, 30, had a successful stint with the Astros’ Triple-A team before being traded to the White Sox. Meanwhile, Castillo joins the Mets after struggling with the Diamondbacks this season.

Castro has played for multiple teams since his debut in 2015 and brings a 4.20 ERA to the White Sox. On the other hand, Castillo hopes to provide relief for the Mets, who are in need of a left-handed pitcher. Stay tuned for more MLB updates on Newsweek Sports.
