Cindy Dale, a Master Rosarian with over 30 years of experience in rose-growing, serves as the newsletter editor and roadshow chair for the American Rose Society. She is an active member of the South Metro Rose Society and tends to 285 rose bushes on her half-acre property.
Having undergone extensive training and dedication, Dale has earned the designation of a consulting rosarian and eventually achieved the title of Master Rosarian after a decade in this position. Recertified every four years, she offers expert guidance at no cost to individuals interested in starting or enhancing their rose gardens. Dale also distributes her pamphlet, “10 Steps to Growing Great Roses,” which outlines the basic principles of caring for these beautiful flowers.
During the South Metro Rose Society’s 38th Annual Rose Show, Dale proudly exhibited nine of her roses on the head table, where the top award-winning roses are presented. Despite having to trim some of her finest roses for the event, she finds joy in contributing to the show and connecting with the local community.
Dale views roses as more than just flowers; she considers them family. Referring to her roses as “my kids,” she finds solace and stress relief in spending time with them. She values the opportunity to share her knowledge with others and foster their interest in roses through the Rose Society.
