Westborough’s Economic Development Committee (EDC) has honored Marks Moving & Storage, Inc. and Marks Northeastern Furniture Foundation with the Best Sustainable Business Award. The award recognizes their contributions to the community by collecting, storing, and delivering repurposed furniture, appliances, and electronics to those in need in Westborough and surrounding areas. Mark Silverman, President and CEO of Marks Moving & Storage, expressed gratitude for the recognition and highlighted the company’s commitment to helping families in need. The award was presented during the Westborough EDC’s “Year in Review” Awards Celebration, which aims to acknowledge local businesses and their economic achievements. Lt. Governor Kim Driscoll served as the keynote speaker at this year’s event, held at the Forbes Building Great Hall in Westborough on April 25th.
