In Hollywood, California, on May 17, 2025, Dr. Marie Lemelle, a businesswoman from California and Colorado, has hit a critical point in her career as she fights to change her public image.

Dr. Marie Yvonne Lemelle, 66, who identifies as a Goodwill Ambassador, is facing criticism for allegedly disrespecting and belittling her former client, a famous and multi-talented artist in the Hall of Fame.

As the head of Pitbull PR Agency, Inc., and Platinum Star Public Relations, Dr. Lemelle has been openly criticizing her ex-client in a blunt manner. While based in Denver, Colorado, her businesses mainly operate out of Glendale, California. Dr. Lemelle is also linked to Platinum Star Media Group, Inc., and Angel City Salute Alliance, Inc., a Colorado-based company. It is uncertain if Dr. Lemelle, who has lived in a Glendale condo for 16 years, has ever resided in Colorado.

The celebrity claims that Dr. Lemelle promised to develop a show for her to present to industry professionals in Hollywood. Allegedly, Dr. Lemelle boasted about her connections and access to producers who were interested in picking up the show for network distribution. The celebrity client was misled into thinking that production had already been approved.

The celebrity, who has known Dr. Lemelle since 2012, disclosed that Dr. Lemelle used her to conduct interviews with other clients, including Judge Craig Strong, Robert Ri’chard, Gloria “Footnanny” Williams, Jacquil Constant, founder of the Haiti International Film Festival, and Trae Ireland, a producer associated with Sony Screen Gems.

The celebrity also revealed that Dr. Lemelle requested her to prepare interview questions for LPGA pro Avis Brown Riley, former YWCA Glendale and Pasadena director Tara Peterson, detailed biographies for various C-Suite executives, and to promote Ernest Thomas, Terry Hunt’s radio show, and movie premiere publicity collateral on social media.

In a public statement, the former client of Platinum Star Media Group, Inc. stated that she paid Dr. Lemelle $4,500 to produce a television show called Powerhouse Series over three months, but only received one press release from Platinum Star in the end.

Dr. Lemelle and the DreamChild Foundation, where she claims to be a Goodwill Ambassador, could not be reached for comment. For more information, contact Tonya Smith at the Calling Out Hypocrisy Alliance at (833) 227-4908.
