Al B. Sure spreading misinformation about Kim Porter’s death is upsetting to Diddy’s kids, says ‘Leal’ Lan. Published on May 19, 2025 at 2:33 PM PDT.
Diddy’s ongoing federal trial on sex trafficking and racketeering charges is undoubtedly taking a toll on his family. However, according to their caretaker ‘Leal’ Lan, the Combs family remains resilient. Lan appeared on “TMZ Live” to discuss how the family is coping since Diddy’s incarceration last year awaiting trial, which commenced two weeks ago.
The music tycoon’s twins, Jessie and D’Lila, recently attended their senior prom and are described by Lan as excellent students who find solace in their faith. The household revolves around a strong belief in God, with the children receiving support from their school, where other celebrity offspring dealing with parental issues are also enrolled.
While the public eyes Diddy’s trial, especially following testimonies from Cassie and Dawn Richard, Lan emphasized that the children only see their father positively, with the legal case not being a primary concern for them.
As a close friend of Kim Porter, Lan has been looking after Diddy’s children since her tragic passing in 2018. She made it clear that she will not shy away from confronting Al B. Sure, who recently blamed Diddy for Kim’s death. Lan refuted Al’s claims, stating that Diddy had no motive for harm and that the singer’s public accusations are detrimental to the kids.
Dismissing rumors of Kim working on a tell-all book, Lan and Diddy’s children reiterated their desire for their father to return home soon. The full interview can be viewed on “TMZ Live.”
