Thanks to the Trump Administration and its policies, the gains made by conservatives seem more durable than ever.

One of the most notable gains during the 2024 election cycle was President Donald Trump and the GOP’s success among Gen Z and Gen Y voters. Trump’s increased vote share among voters aged 18-29 by eleven percent and six percentage points among those aged 30-49 demonstrates the resilience of his young base. This shift in demographics suggests a promising future for conservatism, providing confidence for the GOP and the nation.

It is noteworthy to have a strong electoral performance against a Democratic Party with an approval rating of below thirty percent among American voters. What sets this apart is the approval of the policies pursued by the Trump Administration, particularly on issues like mass deportation and nationalist economic matters.

Despite attempts by mainstream media to portray voters, especially independents, as being against trade wars and fearing market instability, the younger generation sees things differently. Economic concerns, such as inflation, cost of living, the housing market, and job security, are top priorities for 40% of 18-29 year-olds, who support Trump by a 22-point margin on issues like tariffs and the trade war he is engaging in with countries like China. Young voters view Trump’s stance on issues such as no tax on tips, tariffs, and the trade war as necessary for putting America first.

Although these gains have faced opposition from mainstream media, social media influencers, and the left, alternative media have played a vital role in countering this narrative. Platforms like podcasts, live streams, and alternative conservative news outlets have gained significant followings, particularly among the same generations where Trump has gained support.

Not only is Trump gaining ground among voters, but the influence of alternative media on the 2024 election has given credibility to right-wing personalities. Figures like Jack Posobiec, Trump Jr., Charlie Kirk, Tim Pool, and their media platforms have grown due to the support of younger generations. Young voters are no longer interested in traditional media but seek authentic discussions and a call for cultural change.

The disruption of the political status quo has been well received by younger voters who desire change in the face of systemic issues in the government. Gen Z and millennials have embraced the change promised by Donald Trump, despite media backlash, indicating a conservative trend among the next generation of voters.

As we move forward, President Trump and MAGA must prioritize nationalist and populist issues that resonate with young voters. Despite media and leftist criticism, the active participation of upcoming generations in political discourse and elections is crucial.
