Justin Baldoni Letter Alleging Strongarming of Taylor Swift By Blake Lively Struck From Record

Justin Baldoni’s team’s letter accusing Blake Lively of pressuring Taylor Swift to make a public statement of support has been removed from the official record by a judge. The judge deemed the letter irrelevant to the current case and stated that it was merely promoting public scandal with inflammatory accusations. The judge also mentioned that the letter could attract more media attention by suggesting that Lively or her team attempted to extort a well-known celebrity.

Although this could be seen as a setback for Baldoni’s team, a source close to them explained that the judge’s decision was based on the letter not requesting any action from the court. Despite this, Baldoni’s lawyers can still pursue discovery and other information related to the topics raised in the letter.

Recently, Baldoni’s team claimed that Lively threatened to release years’ worth of text messages if Swift didn’t show public support for Blake amid her legal dispute with Justin. Swift was subpoenaed in the case last week and has been a key figure in the ongoing legal matter, particularly concerning a meeting involving Taylor, Blake, and Justin during the film’s production.

Lively’s spokesperson praised the judge’s decision to strike the letter, calling the accusations irrelevant, improper, and inflammatory. They warned that further misconduct may result in sanctions against Baldoni’s team.
