An intruder was reportedly apprehended by Jennifer Aniston’s security team after crashing through the gates of her mansion while she was home. The man, believed to be in his 70s, drove his car into the $21 million Bel Air property around noon on Monday, leading to a confrontation with Aniston’s guards.
The security team quickly responded by pulling the driver out of the vehicle at gunpoint and detaining him until LAPD officers arrived. The police confirmed that the incident occurred around 12:20 PM and involved a suspected burglary where the driver rammed his vehicle through the residence’s gate. Fortunately, Aniston, 56, was unharmed and did not encounter the intruder.
The LAPD is conducting an investigation, and the suspect is expected to face charges for felony vandalism. Aniston purchased the 8,500 sq ft estate in 2011 and has since transformed it into her dream home. The property, known for its city and ocean views, served as the venue for her 2015 wedding. The incident is being handled by the Threat Management Unit, and there is currently no evidence suggesting that the suspect was targeting the actress.
