IHG Hotels & Resorts and Ashaad Company have joined forces to build three new hotels in Saudi Arabia, adding a total of 1700 rooms to the country’s hospitality sector. The hotels, Hotel Indigo Jeddah Gate, InterContinental Al Khobar Al Hamra, and voco Al Khobar Al Andalus, will be strategically located in Jeddah and Al Khobar. This initiative supports IHG’s expansion strategy and is in line with Saudi Vision 2030. The hotels are expected to open between 2028 and 2030, contributing significantly to IHG’s presence in Saudi Arabia. InterContinental Al Khobar Al Hamra, voco Al Khobar Al Andalus, and Hotel Indigo Jeddah Gate will offer luxury accommodations and cater to both business and leisure travelers. IHG’s growing portfolio in Saudi Arabia will be further enhanced by these new properties, as the group aims to establish a strong presence in key cities across the kingdom.
