Hogs Close the Week with Mixed Trade

On Friday, there was a varied performance in lean hog futures, with prices ranging from a decrease of 27 cents to an increase of 40 cents. The June contract experienced a decline of $1.77 throughout the week. The USDA reported the national average base hog negotiated price at $94.47 on Friday afternoon, showing an increase of $0.45. Meanwhile, the CME Lean Hog Index decreased by 9 cents.
