PEACHTREE CITY, GA (June 3, 2025) – The Healing Bridge Clinic has been granted $7,200 by Clothes Less Traveled Thrift Shop, which will be used to purchase and set up integrated wall units for four of the clinic’s recently expanded exam rooms. These wall units will provide volunteer medical providers with quick access to necessary diagnostic tools, enhancing patient care efficiency. The clinic’s renovation and expansion project, completed in 2024, aimed to increase its ability to serve uninsured residents of Fayette and surrounding counties.
Mike Conaway, Executive Director of Healing Bridge Clinic, expressed gratitude for the grant, emphasizing the importance of equipping volunteer providers with top-notch tools for quality care. Kimber Huff-Wilk, Executive Director of Clothes Less Traveled, praised the partnership, highlighting the clinic’s impactful work in the community. The Healing Bridge Clinic offers free healthcare to uninsured residents, with various services provided by over 70 volunteers.
Clothes Less Traveled Thrift Shop, a non-profit organization, sells donated goods and reinvests proceeds into the community through grants to local charities and scholarships.
