Flight passenger spots cockroaches crawling in airplane cabin: ‘Never again’

A traveler aboard a Spirit Airlines flight in Florida was shocked to see insects crawling inside the plane cabin. Symone Berry, who was seated in one of the airline’s premium “Big Front Seats” on May 11, witnessed roaches moving around the aircraft. Berry shared the unsettling incident on social media platforms like X and TikTok, expressing her decision to never fly with Spirit Airlines again.

She mentioned, “I’ve flown over 500,000 miles on Delta and have never in my life seen roaches on a plane.” Despite receiving a voucher from the airline, Berry remained firm in her resolve to avoid flying with them. Footage captured by Berry showed two cockroaches crawling inside the cabin.

Spirit Airlines responded by stating they were aware of the situation and that their maintenance team thoroughly inspected the aircraft to address the issue.
