Diddy Trial: Federal Agents Discover AR-15s, Sexual Items, and Lubricant During Search of Star Island Residence
A Homeland Security Investigations Agent named Gerard Gannon provided details of the raid that took place at Diddy’s Miami property in March 2024. According to his testimony, federal agents uncovered loaded assault rifles, sex toys, and a popular brand of lubricant.
Gannon, who led the raid, informed the New York City jury that the operation was conducted by his unit due to allegations of human trafficking. Around 80 to 90 agents participated in the search of Diddy’s 20,000-square-foot estate on Star Island. They utilized an armored vehicle to breach the front gate and deployed boats to prevent any potential escape attempts from the waterfront residence.
During the search, the agents discovered AR-15 rifles with scratched-off serial numbers, along with sex toys and Astroglide lubricant. Photos of the firearms found in one of the bedroom closets, as well as lingerie and platform heels, were presented to the jury as evidence.
The raid was strategically planned to coincide with Diddy’s departure for a family trip, as federal agents had been monitoring his movements. Diddy was intercepted at a Florida airport following the raids on his Miami and Los Angeles homes.
Although Diddy encountered federal agents at the airport, he was not handcuffed at the time. The court session was interrupted during Gannon’s testimony as jurors appeared drowsy while viewing the exhibits. Gannon is expected to continue his testimony on Wednesday when court reconvenes.
