Zach John King has recently launched an EP named “Slow Down.” The EP marks an exciting new phase in King’s career as an up-and-coming artist. Raised in Fayetteville, GA, King’s family background and upbringing greatly influenced his journey as an artist. His family’s artistic lineage, particularly his grandmother’s love for music, played a significant role in nurturing his passion. King’s musical influences range from country legends like George Jones and Patsy Cline to bands like The Police and Third Eye Blind. King initially pursued music in the indie rock genre, forming a band during high school and college.

After moving to Nashville with his wife in 2021, King aimed to write songs for other artists but faced challenges in finding opportunities. Eventually, he began recording and releasing his own music, leading to the success of his track “Wannabe Cowboy,” which garnered millions of streams worldwide. King’s talent caught the attention of Sony Music Nashville, and he signed with the label this year, releasing tracks ahead of his EP, “Slow Down.”
