EdgePoint Infrastructure has successfully completed 12 projects through its Connectivity for Communities Program, impacting over 6,500 students in Malaysia, Indonesia, and the Philippines. The program, launched a year ago, aims to enhance digital literacy and reduce the digital gap by providing access to connectivity. The company has built digital classrooms in twelve schools, equipped with necessary devices and resources, benefiting students in underserved areas. The initiative has shown positive outcomes, with improved attendance and exam scores, as well as increased digital literacy among students. Beyond the classroom, the connectivity has also benefited the wider community by enabling online opportunities and upskilling. EdgePoint plans to continue its efforts by constructing 20 digital libraries in schools across the three countries.
