Yann Monnet, a BOMAG executive, has been selected to lead the North America business of sister company Dynapac. He has spent the past decade as the vice president and chief financial officer at BOMAG Americas, overseeing the finance team in North America. Both BOMAG and Dynapac are owned by the Fayat Group, headquartered in France. Before this, Monnet worked for approximately 17 years at Hutchinson, a multinational automotive and aerospace manufacturer based in France, where he held various positions including finance and supply chain director for North America and finance and administration manager for Mexico.
In his new role as president and general manager for North America, Monnet will focus on driving business growth, enhancing Dynapac’s presence in North America, and building stronger relationships with dealers and customers. Monnet takes over from Jamie Roush, a seven-year Dynapac executive who previously held roles such as aftermarket vice president and sales vice president, and served as North America president for three years.
During Roush’s tenure, Dynapac introduced electric rollers to the U.S. market and launched its first line of pavers manufactured in the U.S. Before Roush, Brian Bieller was the North America president at Dynapac from 2017 to 2021, then moving on to leadership positions at LeeBoy and subsequently BOMAG Americas as president.
Monnet’s appointment follows less than a year after Nikhil Sapre became the global president of Dynapac in September 2024, succeeding former president Paul Hense who took on the role of vice president for the Road Equipment Division at Fayat Group.
