Develon Unveils Next-Generation Log Loader and Road Builder Excavators

Develon is introducing its latest -7 Series excavators designed for loading timber and constructing roads, starting with the DX225LL-7 log loader and DX225RB-7 road builder. These specialized excavators for forestry applications include safety features, durable components, easy maintenance, and standard My Develon telematics. More models will be revealed in the upcoming months.

The new -7 Series log loaders and road builders by Develon offer increased horsepower, quicker cycle times, and enhanced lifting capacity for more efficient timber harvesting and loading. Equipped with a 162-horsepower Develon DL06P diesel engine, each model features main hydraulic pumps providing 56 gallons per minute of flow.

Improved swing torque allows the excavators to handle heavy loads more efficiently, even on inclines, while the fine-swing function reduces shaking during lifting for better control and safety. Operators can access a one-touch power boost button for extra hydraulic power when necessary.

The -7 Series excavators prioritize comfort and safety with heavy-duty construction, protective guards, and advanced features like a multi-function color LCD monitor displaying machine information and camera feeds. Options include radio and Bluetooth audio, front and rear LED lights, a PA system, and more.

Maintenance has been simplified with easy component access and centralized grease banks, and the machines come with a standard warranty including full coverage for 36 months or 5,000 hours, as well as service support from authorized dealers. Additional extended warranty options are available.
