Construction Underway for New AC Hotel by Marriott St. Augustine

Asante Asset Management, a Florida-based company, is pleased to report that the construction of the new AC Hotel by Marriott in historic St. Augustine is progressing rapidly. The hotel, inspired by European design, started construction in April 2024 and is set to open in fall 2025, offering a modern and sophisticated lodging option in America’s oldest city.

The AC Hotel St. Augustine will have 142 well-designed rooms spread over four floors, catering to both leisure and business travelers who value chic decor and thoughtful amenities. Key features will include the AC Lounge & Kitchen, a 24-hour fitness center, and a stylish outdoor pool for relaxation. The hotel will also offer 1,500 square feet of versatile meeting space for various events.

Situated on Riberia Street by the picturesque San Sebastian River, guests will have easy access to St. Augustine’s popular attractions such as the Castillo de San Marcos National Monument and Flagler College. The hotel’s location also provides proximity to dining spots like San Sebastian Winery and entertainment venues like Ice Plant and St. Augustine Distillery.

The property is owned and developed by Asante Asset Management, with BCA Studios as the architect and EDGEiD handling interior design. Upon opening, the hotel will be managed by McKibbon Hospitality, a company overseeing numerous properties across the southeast, including other AC Hotels.
