CMA CGM welcomes first boxship flying Indian flag at Nhava Sheva container terminal

CMA CGM Group, a French shipping and logistics company, has welcomed the first India-flagged containership, CMA CGM Vitoria, at the Nhava Sheva Freeport Terminal (NSFT). The vessel, part of the BIGEX Network, serves India with direct links to the Gulf and the Red Sea. CMA CGM plans to register three more vessels in India in the near future, reflecting its commitment to the country. The company has also registered a containerized vessel in the Gujarat International Finance Tec (GIFT) City, aiming to contribute to the India-Middle East-Europe Economic Corridor (IMEC). With a long-standing presence in India and various operations, CMA CGM is dedicated to supporting India’s economic growth and connectivity globally.
