A well-known Christian YouTuber recognized for uncovering false teachings is now facing church discipline due to persistent sin. Kris Kdub, once regarded as a courageous advocate of truth, serves as a reminder that being accountable and showing repentance should start within one’s own household.

Kris Kdub, also known as Kris Williams from “All Things Theology,” allegedly engaged in an extramarital online relationship, leading to seeking a divorce from his spouse, as per his church. Pastors Lynn Kahler and Landon Kozeny from Heritage Grace Community Church in Frisco, Texas, revealed in a statement last Friday that they can no longer support Williams following his transgressions.

The church leaders disclosed, “The elders of HGCC were recently informed that Kris has been actively involved in an online adulterous relationship with another woman. Although no physical interaction occurred, his spouse presented undeniable evidence from his online Discord conversations and phone calls confirming this affair.” Despite initially admitting his actions and pledging to end the relationship, Williams resumed contact with the woman after she reached out to him, showing no signs of remorse.

“While the elders and another church member made efforts to hold Kris accountable for his confession and repentance, he was contacted by the woman once more, leading to a resumption of online interactions and phone calls shortly after,” the church’s statement stated. “Upon being confronted again, Kris has refused to repent and has chosen to leave his family while pursuing a divorce from his wife.”

Williams will remain subject to church discipline as the pastors continue to urge him to repent. His ministry endorsement and standing within the church have been revoked. The church’s statement emphasized the importance of calling Kris to repentance and restoration with Christ and his family publicly due to his online platform, “All Things Theology.”

With nearly 90,000 subscribers, “All Things Theology” is described as an apologetics channel that boldly addresses false teachings and defends biblical truths. Williams’ last video was uploaded the Monday preceding the church’s public announcement about him.

As reported by The Christian Post, Williams previously shared the news of adopting a baby boy with his wife on July 4, 2023, before the recent events unfolded.
