Christina Pappas has been named the new president of Illustrated Properties, marking a pivotal moment for the luxury real estate brokerage in South Florida as it commemorates its 50th year in business. Pappas assumes this role after the departure of former president Daniel Dennis, who served for three years before pursuing a different opportunity. She will also retain her position as president of The Keyes Co., a sister company of Illustrated Properties. The two entities function under The Keyes Family of Companies, which boasts of being Florida’s largest independent real estate enterprise.
“I am deeply committed to upholding the vision of Illustrated’s founders,” Pappas expressed in a statement. “Real estate is fundamentally about relationships, and Illustrated has placed a high value on community and connections for five decades. This dedication will continue to steer us as we concentrate on innovation, service, and providing our associates and clients with every advantage for success.”
Illustrated and Keyes have been linked as affiliated brands since 2016, collaborating on services, technology, and marketing resources. Under Pappas’ guidance, both firms are expected to maintain distinct identities while reinforcing their bond through joint initiatives and partnerships. This encompasses associations with Forbes Global Properties, Luxury Portfolio International, and Leading Real Estate Companies of the World.
Pappas, who joined The Keyes Co. in 2011, has been recognized for spearheading significant projects in marketing, agent development, and digital advancements. She has held notable leadership positions in the real estate sector, including her forthcoming role as a regional vice president for the National Association of Realtors representing Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, the Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico.
In 2022, Pappas achieved a milestone as the youngest individual elected as president of Florida Realtors. During her tenure, she played a pivotal role in ensuring real estate was classified as an essential service during the COVID-19 crisis and advocated for affordable housing initiatives statewide. A graduate of Cornell University, Pappas is actively involved in charitable endeavors, supporting the Dolphins Cancer Challenge for cancer research and serving on the executive board of United Way Miami. Illustrated Properties operates with over 600 agents across 20 offices in South Florida.
