Case Construction Equipment is broadening its compact wheel loader range with its largest model to date, the 421G, boasting 112 horsepower and weighing 19,775 pounds. They have also introduced their first electric compact wheel loader, the CL36EV, for commercial use.
The 421G is designed to handle heavy construction tasks with a breakout force of nearly 16,900 pounds, such as snow removal, truck loading, and road maintenance, while being compact enough to work efficiently in tight spaces. It shares a platform with the 321F model and offers a lifting capacity of 15,806 pounds and a hinge pin height of 145 inches for improved visibility.
Operators can benefit from the 421G’s hydrostatic drive, high-flow hydraulic option for specialized attachments, and a user-friendly coupler for easy changes. The redesigned cab provides better visibility with adjustable controls and additional features like a rearview camera and USB port.
For maintenance, the electric rear hood allows access to the engine compartment, and service points are conveniently located at ground level. Case’s Siteconnect Fleet Management system enables remote diagnostics and service scheduling, enhancing operational efficiency.
The CL36EV electric compact wheel loader is ideal for eco-friendly projects, offering emission-free operation and lower noise levels. It promises the same power and performance as diesel-powered loaders, alongside simplified maintenance and lower ownership costs. It can be charged at various stations and has a runtime of 2 to 5 hours, depending on usage.
With a focus on innovation and sustainability, Case continues to expand its electrified product line, including mini excavators, articulated loaders, and backhoes. The CL36EV features a battery capacity of 23 kWh, quick charge times, and versatile compatibility with skid steer attachments for enhanced functionality.
