Case Construction Equipment has introduced a new telescopic-boom version of its SL27 small articulated loader, which now offers operators a hinge pin height of 142 inches for handling larger loading and stacking tasks. The SL27 TR model, with its 50-horsepower engine and weight of 5,940 pounds, has a straight tipping load of 6,405 pounds (retracted) and can reach a top speed of 18.6 mph.

Equipped with a skid-steer-style universal hydraulic coupler that enables quick changes among more than 70 compatible attachments, the SL27 TR also comes with a standard 14-pin electric auxiliary connector. Owners have the option to upgrade to dual-acting auxiliary hydraulics for added functionality.

To enhance stability and maneuverability, the loader features a forward articulation joint and oscillating front end that ensure the bucket remains level and all four tires stay in contact with the ground. An optional lockout allows operators to disable oscillation when not needed. For operator comfort and safety, the SL27 TR includes a construction-grade suspension seat and armrests, a ROPS/FOPS safety roof, and the choice of an enclosed, heated cab.

With a robust design featuring steel panels and components, as well as center-mounted boom arms for stability and durability, the SL27 TR is a reliable machine built for tough jobs. The small articulated loader is part of the lineup developed by Tobroco-Giant in partnership with Case CE, with other models including the SL12, SL12 TR, SL15, SL22EV, SL23, SL27, SL35 TR, and SL50 TR.

Specifications of the SL27 TR include a 50-horsepower engine, hydrostatic transmission, maximum forward speed of 18.6 mph, length with bucket on the ground of 13 feet 11 inches, over cab height of 7 feet 9 inches, full lift dump height of 9 feet 6 inches, pivot pin height of 12 feet 2 inches, tipping load of 5,115 pounds, joystick loader control, and an operating weight of 5,940 pounds.
