Carrie Underwood re-wears her ‘American Idol’ finale dress 20 years later: ‘Still fits’

Carrie Underwood, 42, revisited her past by wearing the same dress she wore during the finale of “American Idol” in 2005 for the show’s “iconic Idol moments” special on Monday night. The singer, now a judge on the singing competition show, chose to wear the exact same outfit she had worn when she won Season 4. During the episode, she not only showcased the iconic dress but also performed a throwback song, “Alone” by Heart, just like she did twenty years ago. She accessorized her outfit with a large gold lariat necklace and updated her glam-rock look while maintaining the same embroidered jacket.
