65-year-old Brenda Kay Morgan passed away on May 31, 2025 after a long battle with chronic health issues. She is survived by her husband, Chauncy, of 44 years, her adult children – Adam, Michael (Mindy), and Nicole (Joel) Parker, and her four grandchildren – Everett, Mia, Natalie, and Brielle. Brenda’s parents, Shirley (Welch) Galloway and Ray Telfor, passed away before her. She is also survived by her six siblings – Brian, Rick, Randy, Diane, Doug, and Stacey.

Brenda dedicated her life to Christ and God’s will in February 1985. She was actively involved in church activities, teaching Sunday School for both children and adults, participating in missions, and managing the resource room at Harp’s Crossing Baptist Church in the 90s. Known for her kindness and thoughtfulness, Brenda often wrote notes of encouragement and surprised others with personalized gifts.

She enjoyed traveling the United States with her husband and participating in elaborate tea parties with her granddaughters, dressing up in fancy dresses and hats. A celebration of Brenda’s life will be held at Harp’s Crossing Baptist Church in Fayetteville, GA on Thursday, June 12 at 3 pm eastern time, with visitors welcome starting at 2:15 pm. Brenda requested that attendees dress casually and that the service be a true celebration of her life and entry into heaven.
