Eight individuals were wounded in an assault on a group of people in Boulder, Colorado, who were advocating for the release of captives held by Hamas and other Palestinian groups in Gaza. The perpetrator was apprehended by the police for throwing incendiary devices, and the FBI is investigating the incident as an act of terror. Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar labeled the attack as anti-Semitic.

The victims were participating in a peaceful event on Pearl Street Mall in Boulder when they were attacked. Videos on social media showed the attacker using a makeshift flamethrower to throw incendiary devices at the group. The suspect, identified as Mohamed Sabry Soliman, shouted “Free Palestine” during the attack and has been detained on multiple charges.

The victims, four women, and four men aged between 52 and 88, were taken to hospitals in the Denver area. The FBI is treating the incident as an act of terror and is investigating it as ideologically motivated violence. Authorities are working to ensure justice is served swiftly and are providing support to the victims and their communities. Leaders and officials have condemned the attack as anti-Semitic and emphasized the need to combat such acts of terror.
