Bahrain Launches Informational Website and Hotline for the Golden Residency to Attract Global Professionals and Investors

In an effort to attract highly skilled individuals and investments to Bahrain, the government has launched a website and hotline dedicated to providing information on the Golden Residency Program. The program, established in 2022 as part of the Economic Recovery Plan, grants permanent residency to investors, real estate owners, artists, athletes, talented professionals, and long-serving employees and their dependents.

Bahrain’s strategic location and business-friendly environment have made it a preferred destination for global talent and investment. The Golden Residency Program aims to further enhance Bahrain’s growth plans by providing a welcoming environment for individuals and businesses to thrive. Residents in Bahrain enjoy a diverse lifestyle that combines modern living with cultural heritage, along with 100% foreign ownership in most sectors and a skilled bilingual workforce.

The program, which allows holders and their families to live and work in Bahrain, is open to employees who have worked in the country for at least five years, property owners, retirees, and talented individuals contributing to Bahrain’s economy. Eligible individuals can apply through Bahrain’s eGovernment Portal, ensuring a fast and efficient application process.
