Andrew And Tristan Tate Charged With Rape, Trafficking In The U.K.

According to the Crown Prosecution Service, Andrew Tate, an internet personality, is facing 11 criminal charges in the UK, including rape, actual bodily harm, and human trafficking. The charges were approved before an extradition warrant was issued in 2024 to bring him from Romania. His brother Tristan Tate also faces 10 charges related to three complainants, including rape, actual bodily harm, human trafficking, and controlling prostitution for gain. The Tates have consistently denied any wrongdoing, and their representative declined to comment. The CPS mentioned that Romanian courts ordered their extradition to the UK last year, but their domestic criminal matters in Romania need to be resolved first. Andrew Tate, a former kickboxer known for promoting an ultra-masculine lifestyle, is also involved in a civil lawsuit in the UK brought by four women, scheduled for trial in 2027.
