Nigel Lythgoe, known for his work on “American Idol,” has sold his Los Angeles home for a whopping $4.4 million, with the new owner being West Coast Customs boss Ryan Friedlinghaus. The 5-bedroom, 8-bathroom house, which was on the market for some time, was originally listed at $4.599 million last year before selling for less. Nigel originally purchased the property for $4.7 million in early 2023. The three-story home in the Toluca Lake neighborhood features a basement with a movie theater, lounge, rec room, and guest suite. The house also includes a gourmet kitchen, a pool, spa, outdoor fireplace, and is EV-ready for Friedlinghaus’s convenience. The listing was managed by Kevin Dees & Sebastian Spader of Carolwood Estates, who have not yet provided a comment on the sale.
