Accor has revealed plans for a new digital meetings and events ecosystem to boost its meetings and events business. The platform will bring together over 5,600 Accor hotels and resorts globally, with a vast inventory of event space and guestrooms. It will allow clients to easily view and book event spaces, guestrooms, and catering services, enhancing the support provided by on-site hotel teams. The integration of sales and catering services will benefit meeting planners and business clients, as well as connect to Accor’s loyalty program ALL Accor.

The new global website is set to launch in late 2025, initially catering to sales teams linked to Salesforce and offering online booking for smaller accommodation groups. In early 2026, additional features will be introduced, such as online booking for meeting rooms and residential seminars, guestrooms, and connectivity to external channels.

The backbone of this platform will be MeetingPackage, an online reservation system for booking Accor meeting spaces. Various technology providers, including Oracle, Backyou, iVvy, and Amadeus, are collaborating to enhance the overall meetings and events management experience across Accor’s portfolio.

Accor aims to enhance the user experience and make its event inventory more visible and appealing through this digital transformation. The company’s Chief Sales and Revenue Officer, Julien Houdebine, highlighted the importance of in-person meetings and events, with the platform simplifying booking and management processes.

The business travel industry is expected to grow significantly, with Accor focusing on expanding its presence in Europe, the Middle East, Latin America, and Asia-Pacific regions to cater to evolving client needs.
