The list of The World’s 50 Best Restaurants 2025 from No. 51 to No. 100 has been revealed ahead of the awards ceremony in Turin on 19 June. The extended list includes restaurants from various continents and was compiled based on the votes of 1,120 independent culinary experts. The full ranking will be announced live at the ceremony in two weeks.

The list comprises restaurants from 25 territories and 37 cities across six continents. There are 12 new entries from cities like São Paulo, San Francisco, Macau, and Tulum. Asia has nine entries, Europe boasts 20, North America has eight, South America has eight, Africa has three, and Oceania has two.

Among the new entries in the 51-100 list are Arca in Tulum, Mexico at No. 67, and Queenstown in New Zealand with Amisfield Restaurant at No. 99. Various European countries have secured spots on the list, with restaurants from Germany, Spain, Belgium, the UK, Switzerland, Slovenia, and France making appearances. Asia sees new entries from Macau and Shanghai, and Singapore is represented by two restaurants. North America welcomes new entries from Tulum and Mérida, and South America has a new entry from São Paulo. Additionally, Cape Town, Sydney, and New Zealand have made their mark on the list for the first time.

The Director of Content for The World’s 50 Best Restaurants, William Drew, commended the diverse representation on the list and expressed excitement for the upcoming awards ceremony in Turin. The voting process for the list involved 1,120 international experts, and the integrity of the ranking is independently adjudicated by Deloitte.

The awards ceremony for The World’s 50 Best Restaurants 2025 will take place on 19 June in Turin and will be livestreamed. The event will feature various activities including thought-leadership forums, collaborative dining events, and a Chefs’ Feast.
