MHI Thermal Systems Wins A’ Design Awards
Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Thermal Systems, a division of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Group, was honored at the A’ Design Award 2025 in Italy for their KXZ3 Series of multi-split air-conditioners for buildings and the RC-ES1 remote control unit for air-conditioners in overseas markets. The KXZ3 Series received the top Platinum Award, while the RC-ES1 was awarded the Gold Award. The air-conditioners are designed to reduce environmental impact, with a blue ornamentation exterior for the KXZ3 Series and a sleek black casing for the RC-ES1 remote control that blends well with various interiors.
The A’ Design Award is an international competition that recognizes outstanding design achievements. The KXZ3 Series air-conditioners use R32 refrigerant, significantly reducing greenhouse gas emissions compared to earlier models. The series also features improved energy efficiency and a compact design. The RC-ES1 remote control, designed by Tensa Industrial Design, offers intuitive operation and compatibility with smartphones via Bluetooth®. These awards reflect MHI Thermal Systems’ commitment to developing customer-centric solutions for heating and cooling needs.
